Recipe Of The Week (Italian Chicken)

Italian Chicken
Each week I love to try something new. This week I made Italian chicken. It was pretty good. A little bland but still good after I added some salt. It just needed something a little more. Here's the recipe.
Ingredients you will need:
4 boneless chicken breast halves
14 1/2 ounce can of chicken broth
14 1/2 ounce can of stewed tomatoes (cut up)
8 ounce can of tomato sauce
1 medium green pepper (chopped)
1 green onion (chopped)
1 garlic clove (minced)
3 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup water
hot cooked noodles
How to make:
Place your chicken in a slow cooker. Combine the chicken broth, stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, green pepper, green onion, garlic, chili powder, ground mustard, garlic salt, onion salt and pepper. Then pour it over your chicken. Cook in your slow cooker (on low) for about 5 hours. Then remove your chicken and put it somewhere it will stay warm. Pour the cooking juices into a saucepan. Mix your flour and water until it is smooth. Then stir it into the juices. Bring this to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until its thickened. Serve it over your chicken and noodles and enjoy.
